Product Overview

Type XGN15-12 is a unit-type, modular sulfur hexafluoride (SF₆) AC metal-enclosed ring main switchgear. With SF₆ switches as the main switches, the entire cabinet adopts air insulation. It features a simple structure, flexible operation, reliable interlocking, and easy installation, and can adapt to different electricity usage scenarios and user needs. This equipment is suitable for AC 50Hz, 12 kV power systems and is widely used in industrial and civil power supply terminal projects, such as places with automatic switching of dual power supplies, power distribution in urban residential areas, and small secondary substations. Its protection level reaches IP2X.

Product Compliance with Standards

The product complies with two important standards:

1. GB 3906 “AC Metal-Enclosed Switchgear and Controlgear for Rated Voltages of 3.6 kV to 40.5 kV”;
2. GB/T 11022 “Common Technical Requirements for Standards of High-Voltage Switchgear and Controlgear”, ensuring the standardization of performance and quality.

Structural Features

The cabinet body of Type XGN15-12 ring main switchgear is formed by CNC processing of aluminum-zinc coated steel plates, galvanized steel plates, or cold-rolled steel plates, with the panel undergoing plastic spraying treatment. The interior consists of four mutually isolated compartments: the busbar compartment, switch body, cable compartment, operating mechanism, and control compartment (note: the original text mentions “four compartments” while listing five components, which is adjusted here to conform to logical expression; if the original intention is “four compartments integrating operating mechanism and control compartment”, it can be further revised according to actual product structure). A pressure relief channel is provided at the rear of the cabinet. The cabinet body has a reasonable and compact structure, small volume, convenient and flexible operation, complete and reliable five-prevention interlocking, simple installation, safe and stable operation, and expandability.
